Cure
To develop the strength properties of an adhesive by chemical reaction. 'Set' is the wider term for converting an adhesive to a hardened state by any chemical or physical action, such as evaporation, gelation or polymerization; 'cure' applies only to adhesives that set by chemical reaction.
